Discover Cornwall's Rich Heritage

Cornwall is a county in Southwest England that is known for its relaxed pace of life, friendly locals, stunning beaches and epic surfing scene. It has some wonderful coastal towns and is an ideal choice if you are planning an EPL tour with your family.

At the very bottom tip of the British Isles sits the cliffs of Land’s End, the most southerly point in the British Isles. The seascapes from here are simply sublime and the area is well known for its lush natural scenery, as well as its historic significance during the days of smuggling by pirates on the Celtic Sea. In fact, you can easily visit Penzance from Land’s End, which was the base of the pirates in Gilbert and Sullivan’s famous opera, The Pirates of Penzance. Other charming attractions include the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Minack Theatre and Truro’s Gothic cathedral, as well as the towns of Padstow, Port Issac, Tintagel and Newquay.

Cornwall’s relatively mild climate, beautiful coastal landscape and distinct culture make it Britain’s most popular summertime destination. It is a joy for those who enjoy walking as the Southwest Coast Path runs the length of Cornwall’s coastline and always offers spectacular clifftop views of the sea.
