Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is a sublime area of the UK comprised of charming villages and countryside that are known for their characteristic green rolling hills and small golden-yellow stone houses. Sitting west of London, it is an ideal choice if you want to mix the vibrancy of London and the EPL with a relaxed country escape.

The area is scattered with stone-built hamlets, flowing rivers and grand British stately homes, including Blenheim Palace, as well as historic castles and ancient ruins dating back to Roman times. However, the region is surely best known for its stunning natural scenery – the Cotswolds are England’s largest designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the second-largest protected landscape on the British Isles.

While the area is renowned for its small villages and quaint hamlets, there are settlements that date back to the Bronze Age, as well as Roman villas and Celtic roads to enjoy if you have an interest in history. There are also swathes of castles and manors to explore, as well as landscaped gardens, royal estates and ancient abbeys, making the Cotswolds a diverse location with something for everyone.
