Yorkshire & Sheffield

Yorkshire is the largest county in England and is situated in the North, not far from the city of Manchester. It is popular for its expansive mountain park, the Yorkshire Dales, and its historical cities, such as York, after which New York City was named.

The Yorkshire Dales is a large range of hills and mountains, and the region is one of Britain’s most popular outdoor tourist destinations. Consequently, a stop in Yorkshire is an excellent choice if you want to mix up your EPL soccer tour with a break in nature. However, the region also boasts historical gems, such as York’s imposing castle and the famous York Minster, a beautiful Gothic cathedral that dominates the city’s skyline.

Sitting between Manchester and the Peak District is the city of Sheffield. This popular match hub in South Yorkshire is home to the oldest soccer club in the world, Sheffield United. The city itself is dominated by Victorian-Gothic architecture and offers beautiful buildings to explore on your EPL soccer tour, such as the Sheffield Town Hall. There is also a vibrant botanical garden and numerous shopping opportunities, making it a good choice for a family vacation.
