Birmingham: Your Gateway to EPL Soccer Excitement
As the second largest city in the UK, Birmingham is brimming with culture and boasts a bustling city center and a beautiful university campus. It sits in the West Midlands of England, not far from the Welsh border, and is close enough to the iconic tourist destinations of the south to be used as a hub destination for international tourists.
The city’s main attractions that are not to be missed are the Museum & Art Gallery, the Science Museum, St Philip’s Cathedral and the university buildings. For those who love chocolate, take a trip to Cadbury World, where you can take a self-guided tour through a mouth-watering exhibit that tells you the history of chocolate and the British Cadbury business, which is now owned by Mondelez International.
If architecture is your thing, you’ll love the university buildings. Birmingham University received its royal charter in 1900, making it over 120 years old, and one of the best sights is Chancellor’s Court, designed by the famous Aston Webb, which encircles the iconic clock tower, known as ‘Old Joe’ or ‘Big Joe’. Central Birmingham is also a bustling metropolitan area full of fine restaurants and bars to visit. One of Birmingham’s most renowned locations is the Bull Ring Arena, which is a uniquely designed building covered in thousands of small metallic plates!
For your EPL soccer tour, Birmingham is close enough to be used as a hub destination when visiting the home-grounds of Aston Villa, the Wolverhampton Wonderers and Leicester City FC.
Client Reviews
I cannot say enough good things about the service provided by Tournove. Great hospitality suites at the football matches, fantastic tours and activities, and tremendous ongoing support throughout my travels. All I had to worry about was booking my airfare and hoping all the trains ran on time! I hope I can go for a three-peat next year!

watched Man U versus Notts Forest and Leeds v Man City, had a great tour of Liverpool and another of Manchester. Then went down to London and watched Fulham v Southampton and then Spurs v Aston Villa on New Years Day. Enjoyed some fabulous private tours out of London. All accommodations and car rides were ace as well. Great trip!

Great experience with Tournove to visit London and see some EPL fixtures.
Crystal Palace v Southampton and also Arsenal v Nottingham Forests - 5-0 thumping! The arrangements were very well organised and planned. First call our requirements were listened too, we then got a great proposal, made couple of tweaks and then purchased our trip. London was fantastic, the accommodation great, the transfers were great, restaurant recommendations and a super tour of London with visit to Tower London and West minster Abbey!

We saw Liverpool at Anfield lose 1 to 2 against Leeds United. And also we saw Manchester U beat West Ham 1 zip! And we got to see Cristiano Ronaldo play - maybe one of his last games for Manchester! Match seats we great, and all other services were very good. We enjoyed a fantastic tour of Liverpool and another of Manchester with a fantastic private guide Michelle, all arranged by Tournove and the transfers were all perfect. It was a really great trip!
